Why is self-compassion considered important?
The key to total wellbeing and mental health is self-compassion. Instead of berating and scolding ourselves for our flaws, it enables us to accept and recognize our own shortcomings, weaknesses, and blunders. As a result, people are more able to handle life’s hardships and have stronger connections and emotional resiliency. According to the study, self-compassion is also favorably correlated with psychological well-being, emotional control, and physical health. We can have better, more satisfying lives by practicing self-compassion.
